Athletes of the Week, 4/24
Jamie Leonard '17, Jason Mark '19 and Leah Holmes '20 earned AOW honors.
Jamie Leonard ’17: Senior captain Jamie is currently undefeated on the season for the Boys’ tennis team. Jamie has been on the team since his freshman year and is the epitome of a great leader, setting the bar high not only for himself but the entire team.
Jason Mark ‘19: Sophomore Jason Mark has had an incredible season thus far offensively for the Hornets. His current batting average is .539 and he most recently helped secure a win over conference rival Horace Mann by driving in two runs. On Saturday, April 29 he hit a home run in the game against Stepinac.
Leah Holmes ’20: Freshman Leah is the second leading scorer (39) and leads the team in assists (19) this spring for the Girls’ Lacrosse team. Last week alone Leah has 12 goals and 5 assists.
