Hackley Reads...All Day!
On Friday, May 12, Hackley Lower School participated in our annual read-a-thon. Children were encouraged to read throughout the day within their classrooms. Several classes joined together to partner read. All proceeds from the read-a-thon are donated to REAP to benefit the Duha Complex School in Rwanda. Read on for details.
3H and KFS shared the first period reading to each other. Later in the day, both Kindergarten classes read with their 4th grade buddies. KFS also spent time reading with friends in 2F. Additionally, Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Pyne, and Mrs. McKay also visited classes to share their favorite books.
