Hackley Girls Golf 2017
The true measure of the Hackley Girls Varsity Golf team was revealed in the way they handled adversity, and through the tenacity, resolve, and growth the squad demonstrated throughout the 2017 season.
It became apparent early on that this young team would carry only 4 members and therefore faced the uphill challenge of a forfeit at the #5 slot in each of their matches. The girls remained positive and committed to improvement for the duration of the spring. Each member of the team demonstrated quantifiable improvement as a golfer and displayed admirable and recognizable character and sportsmanship. With all current members returning next season, 2017 should provide a solid foundation for the growth in the years to come.
