Hackley Boys Tennis 2017

The number one and two singles player,s Teddy vanEck ’17 and Jamie Leonard ’17, were as strong as any one-two in the league. The team entered the playoffs as the number four seed and had a very tough and emotional loss to Trinity School 2-3. The boys showed spirit and determination in all their matches. With the exception of one match during the season, all matches were very competitive 2-3 losses. This is the second best finish for the team in over 10 years. The leadership of Teddy Van Eck and Jamie Leonard was exceptional during the entire season. The younger players were able to learn from their experience and will step up in the future to provide the same.
