Sarah Coble at Work on Larger than Life Portrait

Upper School Art teacher Sarah Coble is working on the largest scale portrait sculpture she has ever undertaken -- a large section of a mural about George Washington Carver to be installed in the lobby of the Carver Center in Portchester. It is approximately 700 lbs. of clay, 7' high. She is currently glazing the pieces and hopes to install it this fall.  The project is a commission for the Clay Art Center In Portchester.
