Mid-season Update: Hackley Field Hockey

The team has pulled together to bring home two big victories this past week beating league foe Fieldston 2-1 in overtime and followed by a 4-3 victory over Holy Child. The team has been propelled by leading point scorer Ellie Arnold ’18 and Karina Bridger ’19. Ellie was named Player of the Week for her two goals in the overtime win at Fieldston, and Karina has been a major contributor offensively. Senior captain Lexi Schechter is tied for the team lead in assists and Jenny Canoni has locked down the goalkeeper spot with 120 saves thus far this season. The team has some exciting games to look forward to over the next two weeks against Horace Mann and a second round matchup with Fieldston.
