HVFH Wins League Championship
Hackley Varsity Field Hockey claimed its fourth consecutive Ivy League Championship on Friday 10/27 with a 3-1 win over Fieldston. The team has had an outstanding year. The team received the two seed in the NYSAIS tournament and will host Riverdale in the first round on Wednesday, November 1st at 2:30 PM.
Congratulations to Karina Bridger ’19, who surpassed the 100 point mark this week, only the third athlete to have done so in Coach Leffler’s career, and we believe, the first HVFH player to do so in junior year.
In addition, congratulations to Jenny Canoni '20, who as a sophomore set a new Hackley record for career saves -- she's now over 300!
