4th Grade Exploration
As part of their Exploration unit, Mrs. Lopez’s fourth grade students wrote historical fiction pieces where they took the roles of Christopher Columbus trying to convince his crew to continue on the voyage for a few more days. (Read on...)
Columbus’s crew members plotting to overthrow him, Tainos describing their feelings about the Europeans on their land, Europeans afraid of sea monsters, and many more people affected by the Age of Exploration. In addition, each child researched a famous explorer and created a “Guess Who” Game, which can be played on the 4L bulletin board. Come test your knowledge of seventeen different explorers from the Age of Exploration!
