Douglas Sawyer Honored as Champion of Hope
Hackley’s Athletic Trainer, Douglas Sawyer, was honored by The Brain Injury Association of New York State. At their annual gala in NYC, they presented him with their “Champion of Hope Award.” (Read on...)
This award is given in recognition of noteworthy individuals who have shown incredible dedication to, and a leadership role in, achieving the mission and goals of BIANYS. Douglas received this award for his efforts in raising awareness and money for traumatic brain injury this summer during his west coast to east coast bike ride. He rode 3,500 miles and raised over $5,000 during the ride.
