All Things Theatrical

After a few lessons about how to read a character breakdown, slate their names, work with a side and improvise in character, students completed a mock audition for Ms. Maddox this week. Students “auditioned” for roles in “Beauty and the Beast” and really got into their characters! Next up: the classes will be divided into small teams, who will each plan and host a mock audition for a well-known musical. Students will help the audition run smoothly by pretending to be directors, stage managers and producers while their peers audition for them.
