Athletes of the Week, 9/10

Olivia Curran, Cross Country: This senior captain ran the seventh fastest time in a field of over 250 runners at the Somers Invitational. With that result Olivia placed second in the Girls Division III 5k. The performance helped led the Girls team to a fourth-place overall finish.

Matt Braver, Boys Soccer: In three games senior Matt Braver has scored 7 goals. He had a hat trick versus Trevor Day School in the opening match of the season, two goals against Masters and two goals against Riverdale including the game winner on the road in a 3-2 win. The first home loss for Riverdale in five years, and the first time the Hornets have won there in six years.
