The Science Olympics are the brain child of Upper School Biology teacher Tessa Johnson. Varsity Physics held the trophies from the end of the tournament last year. This year’s tournament started out with a 12-step obstacle course. Varsity Biology took an early lead followed closely by Varsity Chemistry. The saltine whistle proved to be too much for Varsity Biology, and Varsity Chemistry took the lead. It was down to the upside-down Taboo, and Varsity Physics narrowly scraped out a win, defending their title to hold the (lobster buoy) trophies until the next competition in the winter trimester.
