Practicing Medicine

On December 12, Dr Samantha Rai and a senior resident at Phelps worked with 8th grade science students, teaching them how to correctly suture a wound. It was a fantastic experience for all involved and it gave the kids an insight into the actual practice of medicine in a hospital.
