Ali Kaminetsky ’12 reinvents the lunch box

When Ali graduated from college in 2016 and started working in NYC, she would bring her lunch to work every day because doing so was faster, cheaper and healthier. However, she realized there were no fashionable or functional ways to do so. She was resorting to carrying her lunch in paper, plastic, or old shopping bags which was neither cute nor good for the environment. It was clear that the traditional lunchbox needed a makeover, and from there Modern Picnic was born!
