The students had great discussion on dry and wet ingredients, and used terms like mix, fold, knead, roll out. In class, they have been reading a variety of books on Gingerbread characters, understanding the story settings, identifying the problem (kick-off) and solution (tie-up) in each book. This was one time “playing with your food” was absolutely acceptable!!!
