ISRP Student Presents at International Conference

Senior Josh Saha attended and presented his work on “Neutral gas and resonant magnetic perturbations as seen by optical and magnetic sensors on HBT-EP” at the 61st Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society - Division of Plasma Physics on Tuesday Oct 22, 2019.

Josh was the only high school student to present at this international conference for plasma physicists. His work shows the correlation between a high speed camera and local magnetic sensors in a tokamak when a neutral gas is injected to a stable plasma. Josh’s work was completed in collaboration with Columbia University’s Plasma Physics Lab over the summer of 2019. Congratulations on all of your hard work!
