Michael Makinde ’03 speaks to the Hackley community about his film, "The Talk"

On February 7, Michael Makinde ’03, Counsel, Walt Disney Company, virtually presented his film The Talk to the Hackley community, with Upper School students during the day, and with nearly 80 parents and alumni in an evening session. "Varying Perspectives in Action" is a new speaker series designed to bring to campus – in person or virtually – individuals engaged in meaningful projects and conversations that help us to see the world through a new lens. Our speakers cover a broad range of topics and have diverse lived experiences. Most importantly, they are doing and creating in the world to help generate awareness and ignite ongoing dialogue. Many of our speakers are Hackley alumni, creating connections between our community, Hackley students, and those that came before them.
