Hackley Rolls with the Thunder Against Horace Greeley

In a game on Pickert Field that ended early due to thunder and lightening, Hackley beat Horace Greeley 1 - 0 in their season opener.  The lone goal of the game was scored by Senior Emily Gustin with 19:49 left in the first half.  Senior tri-captain Perri Weiss has the assist.  Sophomore Kathryn Harmon recorded five saves and a shut out in her first game!  The Hornets will take on KLHT away on Wednesday and will return home to Pickert Field on September 22nd for their Ivy League opener against defending Ivy Champion Riverdale.
