A Literary Art Adventure
On Monday, October 17th, the fourth grade class took a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After reading a summer book titled The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, the students explored the museum, led by the Lower School art teacher, to see first-hand the pieces and rooms described in this imaginative story.
Unfortunately, the Temple of Dendur was closed for an event so they did not get to view that room, but therefore they will have to ask their parents to take them back for another day at the museum!
