Freshman Track Athlete Breaks Hackley 3200m Record
Congratulations to Jonah Gorevic on breaking the 3200M record at Hackley by running a 9:44.50 on Saturday, May 5th at the Joe Wynne Somers Lions Club Invitational. Read on.
Jonah’s time beats Matt Pulle’s 9:52 from 1991. In addition to breaking this 27 year old record, Jonah’s time currently ranks him as the fastest freshman in New York State in this event. Finally, this time qualifies Jonah to compete at the New Balance Nationals Outdoors in North Carolina. Congratulations on a new school record and best wishes to Jonah at Nationals!
