PF Team Makes a Strong Showing at Big Bronx!
The US Public Forum team continues to move through its fall season with a strong showing by our Varsity team at the NYC Invitational this past weekend.
Hackley sent two Varsity teams to the tournament,"Big Bronx," at The Bronx High School of Science. Hackley AS, with sophomore Sid Shah and his partner, junior Ben Aybar, performed admirably in the preliminary rounds. Hackley YK, with sophomore Zach Yusaf and junior Ben Kirsch also did admirably, winning enough rounds in the preliminaries to move forward to elimination rounds on Saturday.
In all, it was a good showing for the Public Forum team at such a large and prestigious tournament.
Upcoming Events
The Public Forum program has welcomed a number of new debaters this season. We are working hard and looking forward to our upcoming local tournament at Scarsdale High School on November 9th.
