Cross Country Team Has Strong Showing to Close Season

On Friday, Oct. 28, the Hornets traveled to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for their final 4K race of the season. The boys’ team earned second place out of eight scoring teams, while the girls’ team placed sixth of seven scoring teams.

The boys’ team was led by Asher Beck ’24 (2nd) and Travis Knaggs ’24 (9th), who earned “All Ivy”, team 1 and 2, respectively. The girls’ team was led by Abigail Nager ’26 (9th) and Caitlin M. ’27 (10th), who earned “All Ivy” 2nd team accolades.

Hackley will return to Van Cortlandt Park for a final time this season to run a 5K at the NYSAIS Championships on Monday, Nov. 7. We are so proud of all the progress made this season!
