ISRP Juniors win Gold at International Genius Olympiad
Hackley juniors Katherine Chen and Aniketh Arvind competed among 349 other finalists at the 2023 International Genius Olympiad held at the Rochester Institute of Technology from June 12 to 16.
Katherine presented her work investigating methods to evade natural immunity to deliver gene editing therapies, while Aniketh presented his work to develop a device to help the visually impaired detect handheld objects. Both Hackley Independent Science Research students won gold medals at the fair, which include a renewable $25,000 scholarship to RIT.
